1. Bruno Mars – The Lazy Song
Blasting its way into the UK Top 3 and following hot on the heels of one of 2011’s biggest selling singles ‘Grenade’, Mr Mars and his mates in matching monkey masks all kept it simple for this cheap but cute video, shot in just one take.
2. Nicole Scherzinger with 50 Cent – Right There
Not long after Nicole’s first ever solo UK No.1 with top tune ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’, she returned and teamed up with superstar rapper 50 Cent for this insanely catchy track and great video, full of raunchy dance moves for you to master!
3. Calvin Harris with Kelis – Bounce
After a year-long break, during which Calvin decided to take a more discreet role in the music world and use guest singers instead of supplying vocals himself, his return saw him team up with ace R&B star Kelis for this monster tune.
4. Rihanna – California King Bed
After the controversy of her video for the track ‘S&M’, the first lady of R&B returned with this immaculate tune, a true classic power ballad that’ll be played for years to come and our favourite song from her million-selling ‘Loud’ album.
5. Lady GaGa – Judas
This eagerly-awaited follow-up to Top 3 hit ‘Born This Way’ arrived in a blaze of controversy with Gaga playing the part of a modern-day Mary Magdalene riding on a motorbike. As ever, she can never be accused of doing things by halves!
