Take That - Love Love

This week, Take That spread love all around, Parade spray some perfume, Kings of Leon head back down south, and Arctic Monkeys return…

This Week’s Best New Video: Take That – Love Love

Taken from the movie soundtrack to X-Men: First Class, the lads are on top form here with the song which they added to their repackaged ‘Progressed’ album, just in time for their record-breaking UK tour.

Hot this week – top 5

1. Kings Of Leon – Back Down South

After the singles ‘Radioactive’ and ‘Pyro’, the band geared up for their headline appearance at 2011’s Isle Of Wight Festival with another ace song from their ‘Come Around Sundown’ album and this cool video

2. T-Pain featuring Chris Brown – Best Love Song

If you’re a fan of ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’, there’s quite a few film references here as the rapper and his R&B rival battle to win the affections of a cute girl on this track from the ‘RevolveR’ album.

3. Parade – Perfume

After Top 10 debut hit ‘Louder’, the feisty five-some returned with this. It’s another bright and breezy catchy pop song with an accompanying video shot in and around the London’s docklands and on the Thames.

4. James Blake – Lindisfarne

You might find this video rather unsettling at times as it charts the journey of a young girl and her bizarre initiation into a weird cult. It’s all set to the sound of one of 2011’s most experimental stars.

5. Scouting For Girls – Love How It Hurts

Here’s a cute video for the track from their repackaged ‘Everybody Wants To Be On TV’ album. After falling in love with someone who runs off with our cooler rival, so how will the geeky schoolboy cope?

Top 5 – Essential Arctic Monkeys

Arguably Sheffield’s finest exports, Arctic Monkeys have survived being named Gordon Brown and Ming Campbell’s fave band – and now they’re back with a new album Suck It and See. Here’s their top five tracks…

  1. Brianstorm
  2. Cornerstone
  3. Crying Lightning
  4. Flourescent Adolescent
  5. I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor
