She’s back! (again) – Sharon Watts to return to EastEnders this year
It’s her third return to Albert Square – but this time she means business. Sharon Watts (aka Letitia Dean) is returning to Walford this summer.
EastEnders bosses have announced that Sharon Rickman née Mitchell, née Watts will make a dramatic return to the Square later this year. She was last seen in 2006 after husband Dennis Rickman was stabbed to death.
Her previous major storylines have included romantic entanglements with both Mitchell brothers (rather her than me), and a struggle for power as landlady of the Queen Vic.

Letitia Dean told BBC News:
“[EastEnders] has always been very close to my heart. I cannot wait to work with my old colleagues and see what is in store for Sharon.”
Bryan Kirkwood – EastEnders’ executive producer added:
“I’m thrilled that Letitia is coming back home to Albert Square where she belongs. Sharon is a real favourite amongst EastEnders’ fans and I for one can’t wait until she arrives back in the summer.”
