Dappy

This week, N-Dubz’s Dappy faces up to his past, Modestep misbehave and we look at the best of Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana…

This week’s best new video: Dappy – No Regrets

It’s a big budget video for the hat-wearing N-Dubz star as he starts his solo career here with this top track which reminds us Tinie Tempah’s ’Written In The Stars’ mixed with R Kelly’s ’The World’s Greatest’!

Hot this week – top 5

1. Modestep – Sunlight

Warning – this video contains scenes of pensioners behaving very badly indeed, but enjoying themselves enormously in the process. It may cause distress to young people who wish they could have as much fun!

2. Example – Stay Awake
After an immense start to 2011 which took Eliot to mainstream success with the massive No.1 monster ’Changed The Way You Kissed Me’, this was the lead-in single for his terrific album ’Playing In The Shadows’.

3. Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks
Mark from the Los Angeles-based band says he wrote the song to bring awareness to the issue of gun culture amongst the youth of today and it certainly struck a chord in the UK too when it reached the Top 20.

4. The Saturdays – All Fired Up
It’s another dancefloor gem from the legendary production team Xenomania and the girls look super-hot in the video for the follow up to ‘Notorious’. It’s the title song from their third proper studio album.

5. Emeli Sande – Heaven
After success with Chipmunk on ‘Diamond Rings’ and Wiley on ‘Never Be Your Woman’, it was time for the Scottish-born singer to carve her own solo niche and what better way to start than with this ace track.

Top 5 – Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus

The world-conquering scion of Billy Ray ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ Cyrus is prolific in both her guises. Here’s her top 5:

1. Party in the USA
2. 7 Things
3. Can’t Be Tamed
4. Every Part Of Me
5. Ice Cream Freeze (Let’s Chill)
