Is EastEnders’ Ian about to dump Mandy on their wedding day?
Next week in Soapland, there’s a nuptial nightmare, some serious sibling rivalry, and a dirty little secret is almost exposed…
EastEnders

Ian sees no reason to call off the wedding
Ian Beale has never been known for his tact, and the tight-fisted lard griddler is set to take insensitivity to new heights when he forges ahead with his plans to get married – despite the death of his bride’s mother.
The drama unfolds when Mandy decides to try and resolve things with mum Lorraine before she ties the knot. But when she arrives at the hospital, she’s shocked to learn her mum has passed away.
When Mandy breaks the news to Ian, he insists the wedding should still go ahead and reveals his plan to make it the most magical day of her life. Little does he know that his minxy daughter Lucy has been secretly cancelling all the arrangements in a bid to stop the ceremony taking place.

Sausage-fingered Phil issues a warning
When Lucy’s scheming is exposed by best man Max, a frantic Ian is forced to re-book everything. Meanwhile, Phil is still fretting that Ben is about to be exposed as a murderer and, as the morning of the wedding dawns, he confronts Ian and warns him to stay schtum.

Lucy has plans for Mandy’s wedding ring
As if Ian didn’t have enough on his plate already, Lucy chucks Mandy’s wedding ring down the drain in a last-ditch attempt to ruin the big day. Horrified by his daughter’s actions, Ian demands Lucy hand over Cindy’s wedding ring so he can give it to Mandy.

Ian finds a use for his dead ex-wife’s wedding ring
As Ian checks the ring for size on Mandy’s finger, Lucy gives him a chilling ultimatum: either Mandy goes, or she does. Who will Ian choose? I can hardly stand the suspense!

Alfie and Roxy have a heart-to-heart
In other news, Roxy’s attraction to Alfie is growing, and when she overhears him on the phone having an argument with Kat, she starts to think she might be in with a chance. As the pair both talk about feeling lonely, their hands inch closer together – but, just as they’re about to touch, Alfie’s mobile phone rings. Grrr, don’t you just hate it when that happens?
Coronation Street

So much for brotherly love…
They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and Corrie’s Eva Price is no exception. Convinced that boyfriend Nick is having a fling with his sister-in-law Kylie, the fiery blonde is hell bent on revenge – and, when Nick hires Kylie as a waitress for a lucrative civic dinner at the Bistro, she spies her opportunity.
First off, Eva brings a flush to the diners’ cheeks by adding heaps of chilli to the hotpot. Then she calls the room to attention and tells the guests she added the extra spice to get back at Nick, before revealing all about his “affair” with Kylie. Oh dear, that’s that party pooped…

David has a smashing time
As Nick and Kylie reel in horror, a furious David launches himself in front of the stunned guests. Then, when he’s finished brawling, David finds another way to hit out at Nick – by taking a fire extinguisher to his expensive motor.

Tyrone feels the long arm of the law
In other news, Tyrone stages a surprise 30th birthday party for Kirsty and invites her parents as special guests – not realising she doesn’t get on with them. After the bash, the irritable WPC expresses her disapproval by slamming her unsuspecting fiancé up against a door and putting him in a regulation police arm lock. Ouch.

Is Kirsty about to leave Weatherfield for good?
Later, a contrite Kirsty tries to make it up to Tyrone – and when he refuses to accept her apology, she starts packing her bags. Will Tyrone really let the mother of his unborn child walk away? If he’s got any sense, he’ll give her the money for her tram fare!

Sunita almost gets caught in the act
Elsewhere, Sunita and Karl’s dirty little secret is almost exposed as they enjoy another saucy session in the flat above the shop – just as Dev arrives to show Kevin around the place. While Karl hides, a breathless Sunita emerges from the bedroom and tells Dev she’s giving the flat a spring clean. Thinking she’s in the clear, Sunita breathes a sigh of relief – but when Kev’s eagle-eyed daughter Sophie spots Karl’s wallet on the sofa, she suddenly has an awful lot of explaining to do.
Emmerdale

Robbie’s landlord is in an unforgiving mood
Dish of the Dales Declan Macey has always been good in a crisis – and next week he comes to the rescue of long-lost nephew Robbie. Only trouble is, not everyone’s impressed with his Good Samaritan act…
The drama unfolds when Declan pays Robbie another visit – and finds himself the middle of a row between Robbie and his landlord. Peeved that Robbie’s been having it away with his girlfriend (well, you would be, wouldn’t you?), the angry landlord gives him 24 hours notice to quit.

Declan lends a helping hand
A couple of days later, Robbie turns up at Home Farm and asks Declan to act as guarantor for a loan he’s applied for. The generous businessman not only signs on the dotted line, he also offers Robbie a place to stay. Concerned that Declan might have acted a little rashly, Katie persuades him to come clean to Megan.

A furious Megan lashes out
Needless to say, Megan’s not best pleased to hear about Declan and Robbie’s bonding sessions – and when she learns her son could be moving in to Home Farm, she hits the roof and slaps her shocked brother across the chops before storming out.

Val makes a surprise return
Elsewhere, it’s handbags at dawn as Val returns from her Portuguese sojourn – and walks in on Pollard, just as he’s enjoying a cosy dinner with Brenda, Gennie, Nikhil and Amy. Now that the stroppy Geordie is back in town, will Pollard dump a lovestruck Brenda? Surely he wouldn’t be so stupid…

Noah works his childish charms on Jai
Meanwhile, on the other side of t’village, Jai tells Charity he wants to adopt Noah. Realising her hubby is desperate to be a dad, Charity finally caves in and tells him she might be ready to have his baby after all. Yaaaay!
