I’m a Celebrity: Insania strikes as Peter Andre visits the jungle

The jungle celebrities went Insania last night as pop star and former I’m a Celebrity… contestant Peter Andre was ceremoniously carried into the jungle in a packing crate.

Fatima Whitbread and Crissy Rock were overcome with emotion at meeting Le Andre, but they managed to control their excitement to band together with the other celebs and produce a song in his honour (let’s hope we don’t have to hear that again in a hurry).

Most of the other celebs – Dougie in particular – (and doubtless the majority of the British population) were bemused as Fatima repeatedly smooched a bangle that Andre had given her, while Crissy nearly exploded with excitement at the idea of getting his phone number and seeing him in concert.

Whether the deprivations of the jungle have finally taken their toll on the celebs’ mental faculties, or the sight of their idol was simply too much – it’s impossible to tell.

At least Crissy managed to meet her idol before being voted off – leaving Fatima, Anthony, Willie, Mark and Dougie to fight it out to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.
