Emmerdale mum Kerry pushes the self-destruct button – again!
Next week in Soapland, there’s a 999 drama, a revenge plot goes awry, and a dad meets the daughter he never knew existed…
Emmerdale
Ever since she rocked up in Emmerdale, Amy’s mum Kerry has caused nothing but havoc and heartache. Next week, the diabetic mum finds herself in the doghouse yet again, when she babysits for Sarah and her insulin pen somehow finds its way into the young ’un’s bag.

Kerry plays happy families with Sarah and Andy
Horrified at Kerry’s carelessness and under pressure from Sarah’s outraged mum Debbie, toyboy Andy tells her to sling her hook. With no place to stay, Kerry heads to the B&B, cap in hand – but Pollard’s sympathy reserves are running dry and he tells her she’s not welcome.

Is Kerry and Andy’s romance over already?
Feeling as if her world is falling apart, Kerry hits the bottle, drinking herself into a stupor before collapsing in the street. Luckily, she’s found by Good Samaritan Sam, who dials 999, as Val and Pollard rush over with blankets.

Amy demonstrates her bedside manner
With doctors warning that Kerry is in a critical condition, Amy dashes to her unconscious mother’s bedside. Furious at the upset Kerry has caused, the teenager tells Pollard her mum will have to leave the village as soon as she’s recovered. As Amy storms out of the room, followed by a concerned Pollard, Kerry opens her eyes, having heard every word. Ouch.

Jai and Rachel clash over access rights
Meanwhile, over in oh-so-glamorous Leeds, expectant mum Rachel is moving into her swanky new flat. Baby-father Jai helps her settle in, but the mood quickly sours when Rachel discovers he’s taken the liberty of having his own set of keys cut.

Rachel feels like a bird in a gilded cage
Later, at home, love cheat Jai struggles to hide his guilt from wife Charity. Meanwhile, back at the flat, there’s only so much excitement a Habitat sofa and a few fluffy cushions can offer and, despite her luxurious surroundings, Rachel is bored and lonely. Realising she can’t bear to be apart from her family, she tells Jai she wants to come back to Emmerdale – or else their baby deal is off. Will the confectionery king give in to her demands? Only time will tell…
Coronation Street
For Lloyd Mullaney, a day not drenched in drama is a day very much wasted, and the cab driver’s life is about to take another gobsmacking twist. It all kicks off when he picks up a fare, only to discover it’s old flame Mandy – a woman he’s always regarded as ‘the one that got away’.

Can you spot the family resemblance?
While Lloyd’s thrilled to have Mandy back in his life, his ex seems considerably less keen to revisit the past. Intent on winning his ex-love over, Lloyd heads to her house to return a bracelet she left in the back of his cab, and is surprised when a young woman called Jenna opens the door and reveals she’s Mandy’s daughter.

Lloyd has some tough questions for Mandy
Back on the Street, an intrigued Lloyd tries to work out how old Jenna is. With the dates adding up, and Mandy’s off-hand behaviour speaking volumes, Lloyd soon realises that Jenna could well be his. When Lloyd confronts Mandy with his suspicions, she’s quick to dismiss them. But later, unable to let sleeping dogs lie, he returns to her house, where the atmosphere is tenser than the Big Brother house on final night.

Mandy drops a bombshell on daughter Jenna
Sensing the tension, Jenna starts asking questions of her own – and it isn’t long before Mandy is forced to admit the shocking truth: Lloyd is Jenna’s father.

Owen’s about to make Tina’s money woes disappear
Elsewhere, Tina is still intent on renting her womb to Izzy and Gary. Boyfriend Tommy has serious reservations about the surrogacy, but he soon cheers up when Owen hands the couple £5,000 as a down payment, meaning they can finally pay Tyrone off.

Beth shows her appreciation to Kirk
In other news, Kirk rescues Beth from a dodgy internet date – and reaps the rewards when he receives a great big snog in lieu of a thank you. Ooh, err!
EastEnders
Albert Square already has more Moons than Jupiter – and next week their ranks are swelled by the return of young Tyler. What’s more, the self-styled ladies’ man is in for a shock, when he finds out that his brother Anthony is missing and The Emporium is now in Derek’s sausage-fingered grasp.

Tyler discovers there’s a new boss at The Emporium
Meanwhile, keen to build bridges with son Joey, Derek has given him the keys to the antiques business, telling him he can do whatever he likes with the place, as soon as all the old stock is shifted. But Joey’s in no rush to kiss and make up, and tells Tyler they should team up to teach Derek a lesson after the shameful way he treated Anthony.

Derek makes Tyler an offer he can’t refuse
But Tyler refuses to get involved in Joey’s revenge plot – and when Derek gets wind of his son’s machinations, he decides to play him at his own game. In a bid to make Joey jealous, devious Del Boy offers Tyler a stall in the market, claiming it’s his way of saying sorry.

Tyler lets his fists do the talking
Joey’s more than a little peeved when Tyler takes up the offer and lashes out, calling Tyler Derek’s lapdog and insulting Anthony into the bargain. As fists start flying, Derek watches from the sidelines, delighted that his plan seems to be working.

Michael has his hands full – thanks to Janine
Elsewhere, Michael presses ahead with his plan to buy 89B from Lucy in Janine’s absence. But there’s a nasty shock in store when he calls his solicitor, only to find Janine has transferred all the money from the accounts (gasp!). Moments later, Billy arrives in a panic and hands Michael a document, stating that Butchers Joints is closing down (double gasp!).

Phew, it’s getting awfully hot in here…
In other news, Jack and Sharon spend a romantic evening at his place, but just as things are getting – ahem, interesting – Jack gently pushes the blonde bombshell away, explaining that he really likes her and wants to take things slowly. Oh dear, Sharon, better head home for that cold shower…
