Celebrity Big Brother 2011 – are these the housemates?
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother starts in two weeks – and the rumour mill is already working overtime, with speculation rife about the likely internees…
Clear your diary for Thursday 18 August. At 9pm, Celebrity Big Brother will be back on our screens, with a 90 minute live show introduced by new host Brian Dowling. You’ll either be glued to your TV screen, or running as fast as you can in the other direction.
Either way, here’s the list of celebrities rumoured to be appearing in this year’s series:
Pamela Anderson
Pammy is no stranger to the spotlight, having Baywatched her way into the collective world consciousness back in the 90s. Now famous for her work with PETA, how will she cope with the animals (see Jedward) she’s going to be locked away with?
Jedward
The Grimes twins will bring a welcome sense of joie de vivre to the Big Brother house. And by joie de vivre, I mean eye-wateringly annoying antics, screeching voices and inexplicably tall hair.
Amy Childs
The rumour mill has been grinding relentlessly away in the past few days, suggesting Amy has thrown in the towel on The Only Way Is Essex to join in the fun on Big Brother. The best analogy would be if you jumped out of a frying pan into, um, another frying pan.
Kerry Katona
She’s appeared on nearly all other reality TV shows, so it was inevitable that Warrington’s finest would throw in her lot with Big Brother. Expect plenty of shouting and tears – and that’s from the other contestants when they find out they’re now living with her.
Wagner
The bongo maestro of The X Factor looks likely to swish his tresses into the Big Brother house for two weeks of mayhem. Whether he’ll be allowed to ‘entertain’ the other contestants with his unique singing voice is anyone’s guess.
And the others…
Other rumoured housemates include ex-EastEnder Michael ‘Beppe di Marco’ Greco and actor and ‘winner’ Charlie Sheen. Quite a rum bunch, I think you’ll agree.
