Claudia Winkleman shares her tips on getting more from your broadband

Claudia Winkleman gives us a behind the scenes peak as she films a new set of videos with BT to help you get the very best from your broadband.

So you usually see me talking about films. Now, though, you can see me in one – well, three actually. Because yesterday we filmed a series of ‘How to get more from your broadband’ videos for BT Infinity, which will be coming to your screens very soon.

It was an early start, so early that even the birds were probably still brushing their teeth. If they have teeth, that is. But there was a lot to pack in – we only had one day to make three different videos that help people do more with their broadband: setting up a wireless network, watching films online and finally, something I’m already freakishly fond of, shopping online.

And while it was hard work, I actually enjoyed myself massively, not least because I got to try on and wear more delicious outfits than an Oscars host. The girls on the shoot would have ripped some of those clothes off me if I’d turned my back for a second, especially some rather sexy boots from Marc Jacobs (they star in the video too, but very much in a supporting role).

There was also a hilarious caterer who made up in fun what he lacked in tea-making ability by serving up some mystery crisps that none of us could work out the flavour of. In the end, he had to call his head office to find out what they were – though, frankly, they didn’t taste much like an English Breakfast to me. He was delighted with himself and then offered out buns. I tried to take him home…
