We launch our new Blackberry wi-fi app as our wi-fi hotspots hit 3.5 million
Our wi-fi hotspots numbers have hit a new high with 3.5 million across the UK and Ireland.
And the good news doesn’t end there – we’ve also launched a new BT FON app for BT home broadband customers giving you easier hotspot log-in from a Blackberry.
BT Total Broadband customers now have free and unlimited access to the one of the largest wi-fi networks in the world** – including more than 380,000 in London, 25,000 in Birmingham and Leeds, around 20,000 in Manchester, Edinburgh and Sheffield, and more than 11,000 in Liverpool, Brighton, Bristol and Cardiff.
Find out how to use our new Blackberry wi-fi app
The new Blackberry app, which makes it simple to get online, follows our popular apps for Apple and Android users. Our wi-fi hotspots are free to use if you’re a BT broadband home or business customer.
You can find them in homes, businesses, city centres and hotels like Hilton, Thistle, Ramada Jarvis and Macdonald, Starbucks, Welcome Break, RoadChef Costa service stations, American Airlines and SkyTeam airport lounges and Network Rail stations.
